Ohio Revised Code Section 4510.037 (A)Cause
More than 5 chargeable points on a driving record.
If the points charged against the driver are 2 but less than 12, the driver may be applicable to complete a remedial driver course. The remedial course can be completed once every three years, a maximum of five credits can be granted within a lifetime. The purpose of the course is to grant a two-point credit against the total amount of points charged within a two-year period.
Note: The remedial driver course does not delete or remove any points from the Ohio driving record.
Course must be taken at an accredited remedial school (See County Lists)
