The Bureau of
Motor Vehicles, Dealer Licensing Section, licenses and regulates those
persons and business entities operating in motor vehicle sales, leasing,
and distributing, and the motor vehicle salvage industry.
The Dealer Licensing Section ensures
that those licensed under Chapters 4517 and 4738 of the Ohio Revised Code
and Chapters 4501:1-3 and 4501:1-4 of the Ohio Administrative Code meet
and adhere to the specific rules and regulations for the operation of
their business and the licensure of employees to conduct certain business
transactions with the public and clerks of court.
