Section 4511.95
Cause
An out of state court informs the
Ohio BMV that there is an outstanding traffic ticket against the Ohio driver.
Length of
Suspension
Indefinite suspension until
requirements are met.
Appeal Procedure
Person may request an administrative
hearing by writing to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) within 30 days from the
date of the notice. The hearing request does stay the suspension. The scope of
the hearing will be to determine if subject was the one issued the citation in
said state.
Reinstatement Requirements

Pay any fines or costs from the out
of state court.

The out of state court must send a
release/receipt to the BMV, or the suspended party may send a copy of the
receipt that they received from the court.

Pay a $12.50 or a $30.00
(on or after 10/01/97) reinstatement fee, if the court fine had not
been paid before the beginning date of the violator compact suspension.
