The court is authorized to order vehicle immobilization and impoundment of the license plates at the time of sentencing for: FRA suspension – First Offense: 30 days; Second Offense: 60 days;
Third Offense: Forfeiture.Permanent loss of vehicle shall be ordered by the court for any of the following: Third or more offense of driving under FRA suspension within five years; or first offense of driving a vehicle that is immobilized and plates impounded.)
Anytime an individual is involved in a motor vehicle accident and a police report is made, all parties listed on the police report have an entry of that accident placed on their driving record. When this entry is placed on the record, there are no points assessed and it does not specify who was at fault.
