What are Standard Plates

Standard license plates are manufactured for customers who do not wish to have a personalized or special interest license plate. Standard plates are pre-manufactured with consecutive numbers only and are never personalized. Example ABC 1234. Standard license plates may be issued to any Ohio resident. Registrants automatically receive a standard license plate when a personalized, initial reserve or special interest license plate is not requested.

Standard license plates do not require an additional fee. The fee for standard license plates only includes regular registration fees. For more information regarding registration fees please CLICK HERE.
