| General Information | The vehicle must be used in rendition of public mass transportation and at least 75% of the annual mileage must be within the municipal corporation(s); or the vehicle is operated solely for the purpose of transporting persons associated with a nonprofit or charitable organization. |
| Registrant Eligibility | May be issued to any nonprofit organization that provides public mass transportation. Nonprofit organizations must submit Articles of Incorporation or a Statement of Good Standing, not over five years old and obtained from the Ohio Secretary of State. Public Mass Transportation must submit P.U.C.O. certificate and route schedule. |
| Title Requirements | Ohio Certificate of Title issued in the name of the charity or nonprofit, either singly, jointly or the name is the same name on the lease agreement. |
| Vehicle Information | Vehicle must have a seating capacity of more than seven persons and body type must describe the vehicle as a bus, minibus or station wagon. |
| Type of Plates | System assigned plates only. |
| Issuance Information | Plates are issued at Deputy Registrar license agencies and the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Columbus |
