Armed Forces Designation

At any time, any veteran, active duty or reservist of the armed forces of the United States may have an ‘Armed Forces’ emblem added to the bottom right-hand corner their Ohio driver license or identification (ID) card.

Applicants may visit any deputy registrar license agency in Ohio and provide their Ohio driver license or identification (ID) card and one of the following:

  • DD214
  • Active or retired military ID
  • Veteran Identification Card
  • A copy of current orders
